who do you think can achieve a career, non-calendar or calendar grand slam? golden slam?
I think that Roger Federer is the closest person to achieve a career or calendar slam but if he doesn’t win the all the slams soon, his chances are going to go down because a lot of talented players are emerging. I don’t want to wait till I’m old to see another player achieve a career, non-calendar or a calendar grand slam.

So, who are your pick for the next player to achieve this?

My first pick is Federer. If he can’t do it, then maybe Nadal or Djokovic. But i think Nadal can do it before Federer could…

Federer would be my first choice since all he needs is the French which in the last three years he has 2 finals and 1 semi-fianl loss. It just seems like sooner or later he will get it right. Next I really don’t know, I guess that Nadal could get hot and make some noise he is still young 21 i think…

Roger .. But it’s quite difficult for him to win the french .. His challenger is only 21 .. And wil reach his prime in maybe 5 years .. He’ll get better and will be one heck of a player once his serve improves .. that is quite week now .. Djokovich and Murray r also quite improving .. So fedex if he won’t win the french in the next 2 or 3 years won’t win the french .. And Nadal winning all 4 is not possible .. He’s not that good .. He’ll win a lot cos he is only 21 .. but not good for a grand slam ..

Besides Federer, probably Djokovic. For the women’s, only Henin and Serena Williams can do it at the moment, maybe Jankovic in the future. As for the Golden Slam, only Federer but unfortunately a lot of these top players skip the Olympics, and to date, the only Golden Slam winner is Steffi Graf, in ’88.
